1. Overview

Harmony is designed to be local-first. Your mission statement, onboarding answers, roles, goals, reminders, and related planning data are stored locally and encrypted on your device. You do not need to create an account to use the current Harmony Weekly Planner app.

2. What We Do Not Collect

We do not require or collect your name to use the app.
We do not require or collect your email address to use the app.
We do not store the contents of your mission statement, goals, or onboarding answers on Harmony servers as part of ordinary app use.
We do not sell your personal data.

Because your core planning data stays on your device, we generally cannot read it from our servers.

3. When Data Leaves Your Device

3.1 Optional AI Mission Drafts

If you choose the optional AI feature that creates a first draft of your mission statement, Harmony sends the answers you provide for mission creation to our mission-generation service and to OpenAI so the draft can be generated. We do not require or intentionally include direct identifiers such as your name or email address in that request.

We may include limited technical metadata such as app version, platform, and an anonymous install identifier so we can operate, secure, and rate-limit the feature. Outside of this optional flow, your mission statement and planning content stay on your device.

3.2 Anonymous Analytics

We use PostHog for anonymous product analytics, and on some platforms we may also use anonymous attribution tooling, so we can understand usage, diagnose issues, measure installs or conversions, and improve Harmony. These tools are tied to an anonymous device or install identifier rather than your identity, and they do not give us access to the contents of your mission statement, goals, or onboarding answers.

Our website may also use standard web analytics, performance, and attribution tooling that receives technical request data such as IP address, browser or device information, pages viewed, and referral data. Those tools do not give us access to your locally stored Harmony content.

3.3 Optional Website Email Delivery

The Harmony Weekly Planner app does not require your email address. If you voluntarily use a website feature to email a generated mission statement to yourself, we use the email address and mission statement you submit only to send that email and any related follow-up associated with that feature.

3.4 Billing

If you purchase a subscription, billing is handled by Apple and/or our billing providers. Harmony does not store your full payment card details.

4. How We Share Data

We do not sell or rent your data. We only share limited data with service providers that are needed to run the feature you chose, such as OpenAI for optional mission draft generation, analytics providers for anonymous usage analytics, and billing providers for subscription purchases.

5. Retention and Deletion

Your core Harmony data remains on your device until you delete it or remove the app.
If you erase local Harmony data or delete the app, your local content may be permanently removed.
Optional AI mission-generation requests are sent only when you ask for them.
Analytics and billing records are retained by the relevant providers under their own retention settings and policies.

6. Security

Harmony uses encrypted local storage for core app data and encrypted connections when data is sent off-device. No system can promise absolute security, but we design Harmony to minimize the amount of sensitive data we ever collect or store on our own systems.
